No claim to cure, treat or prevent disease

Before you use a product

Read the label and the leaflet supplied with the product; where the label and this website differ, the label governs.

• Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Consult a doctor before giving any product to a child, or before use by an elderly person with existing conditions.
• Check the full ingredient list if you have a known allergy, and stop use immediately if a reaction occurs.
• Tell your doctor about every supplement you take if you are on prescribed medication, before or after surgery, or being investigated for a condition.
• Do not exceed the stated dose, and do not use a product after its expiry date or if the seal is broken.

Reporting a reaction

If you experience an adverse reaction, stop using the product and seek medical attention. Report it to PILOMED at [adverse-event contact] with the batch number and expiry date printed on the pack.

Define the internal escalation path, the regulator notification duty and the record-retention period with counsel, and name the owner responsible for each.

Consultations and uploaded reports

Set out clearly what a PILOMED consultation is and is not, the qualifications of the person responding, and that it is not emergency care. State that a lab report uploaded to the site is reviewed for general guidance only and is not a clinical interpretation.

If a medical emergency is suspected, tell users to contact local emergency services immediately rather than to use this website.
