HealoAnsh is the wound-care product in the PiloMed catalogue, and it carries the most cautious directions of anything we sell. This guide covers the ingredients, the pack, and the situations where you must speak to a clinician before applying anything at all.

What comes in the pack
One pack of HealoAnsh Ointment holds two 50 g bottles at ₹360. You can choose 2, 4 or 6 bottles, with the per-bottle price shown before you order. It is manufactured in India by Amritalaya Herbs and Nutraceuticals Pvt. Ltd., packed by Mihiransh Health Care, and sold under HSN 30049011 at 5% GST.
The nine herbs on the label
The brand information lists nine ingredients:
- Lodhra
- Shala
- Kustha
- Harithaki
- Jati
- Nimba
- Karanja
- Nilotpala
- Manjishta
Several of these — Nimba, Karanja, Manjishta, Jati — also appear in our Jatyadi Tel, which is common in traditional external preparations. Harithaki is one of the three fruits in the well-known Triphala combination.
We publish the list because you should be able to see what you are putting on your skin. It is not a claim about what any of them will do.
How it is used
HealoAnsh is for external use only. The supplied directions are unusually specific, and they matter:
For external use only. Follow the product label and the directions of your treating clinician. Ask your clinician before applying to an open wound, a diabetic foot ulcer or a burn. Do not apply ointment as first aid to a fresh burn.
Read that last sentence again. Do not put ointment on a fresh burn as first aid. Standard burn first aid is cool running water for around twenty minutes — not grease, not ointment, not toothpaste, not ice. Applying an ointment to a fresh burn can trap heat and make the injury worse, and it makes the burn harder for a clinician to assess afterwards.
Wounds that need a clinician, not a product
The product information names three situations where you must ask a clinician *before* applying anything:
- An open wound
- A diabetic foot ulcer
- A burn
Diabetic foot wounds in particular are not something to manage at home. Reduced sensation means damage can progress without much pain to warn you, and infection can advance quickly. These wounds need proper assessment, and often proper dressing and follow-up. Please do not substitute an ointment for that.
Also seek medical attention if a wound is:
- Spreading, or increasing in redness
- Producing pus or an unpleasant smell
- Accompanied by fever
- Not improving over a reasonable period
- Caused by something dirty or rusty, or a bite
Storing it
Cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Cap closed tightly after use. Do not share a bottle between people, and do not use it on someone else's wound.
The safety notes
- For external use only. Do not swallow it.
- Avoid contact with the eyes and the inner mouth or nose.
- Not a substitute for medical treatment of a wound.
- Diabetic foot wounds, infection and serious burns need medical assessment.
- Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or using it for a child.
- Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or a reaction develops.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Results vary from person to person.
Test a small area first
With any external preparation applied to skin that may already be irritated, it is sensible to try a small amount on an unaffected patch first and wait a day before wider use. If redness, itching, burning or a rash appears, stop and speak to a doctor.
This is ordinary caution rather than a claim about this product specifically. Any ointment can irritate any given person's skin.
Be realistic about what you expect
The product information states plainly that results vary from person to person. We would add: wounds have causes. An ointment applied over an unaddressed cause — an untreated infection, uncontrolled blood sugar, continued pressure on the same spot — is working against something that will keep winning.
If a wound is not clearly improving over a reasonable period, that is information. Act on it by getting it looked at.
A note on the pack images
The photographs supplied by the brand for this product show wound types in its marketing. Those images are the manufacturer's. Product claims and recovery outcomes are not independently verified by PiloMed, and we say so on the product page as well.
